CCSU s Brian Biekert, Craig Hunt and Jamal Fruster will each be competing in one event this weekend after earning their spot in the field as one of the top-48 performers in the eastern region this season.

The Blue Devils were led by juniors Jamal Fruster and Jordan Watkins in the second day of IC4A competition.

Junior Matt Walker helped CCSU finish day one tied for seventh out of 25 teams at the New England Championships Friday.

CCSU tallied five more team points Saturday to finish 20th overall.

The Blue Devils tallied four gold medals on Sunday to help claim their first championship title.

The 2014 NEC Outdoor Championships will continue tomorrow afternoon.
